Privacy Policy
The short version: Hush does not collect any personal data.
- No account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
- The app makes no network requests of its own. Your settings, mixes and presets stay on your device.
- Purchases go through Apple. We never see your name, email or payment details.
Who we are
Hush is made by Zoltán Török (“we”, “us”), based in Romania. For anything about this policy, write to contact@zt-mobile.dev.
What Hush stores, and where
To remember how you like to listen, Hush saves a few things on your device only:
- your settings and theme,
- the last mix you played, and the presets you save,
- whether Hush Full is unlocked.
This data sits in the app's own storage and in an App Group container shared only with the Hush widgets on the same device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it. If you back up your device with iCloud or a computer, this data may be included in that backup, which Apple's or your computer's terms cover.
Purchases
Hush Full is a one-time in-app purchase made through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether the purchase is valid, so the app can unlock it and restore it on your other devices or for your Family Sharing group. We do not receive your name, Apple Account, email or payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
Siri, Shortcuts, widgets and the Live Activity
These features run on your device through iOS. Hush shares what is playing and the timer with the system so it can show them on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, in Control Center and in widgets. Voice requests to Siri are handled by Apple under its own privacy policy; Hush only receives the action, such as “start” or “stop”.
Analytics and crash reports
Hush contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs. If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us anonymous, aggregated crash reports and usage statistics. They do not identify you, and you can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Links to other websites
The Sound credits screen links to the authors and licences of the recordings. Opening a link takes you to that website in your browser, where its own privacy policy applies.
Downloaded content
If a future version offers additional sounds to download, they will be delivered from Apple's servers through the App Store. As with any download, Apple processes your device's network address to deliver the file. We will update this policy before that happens if anything changes for you.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply, and we delete the conversation once your question is settled, unless the law requires us to keep it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Children
Hush is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because Hush holds no personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to hand over or delete, apart from any emails you sent us. You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Romania that is the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP); you may also contact the authority where you live.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects what data Hush handles, we will say so in the app's release notes too.
